Motor Mounts/Transmission Mount

My mechanic friend is in the middle of some work on my SHO. He dropped the subframe and discovered I need motor mounts and a transmission mount. They are all shot. Any advice on where I can pick something up fast? I'm in Kansas City. I thought about just heading to AutoZone and seeing if they have anything in stock. Ford dealership probably charges an arm & a leg, eh? Also, any advice on what particular part(s) I should be looking for?

Last I checked they do not stock the SHO mounts at Auto Zone, CarQuest, etc. The dealer will have them, but they cost you - and wont last. The SHO SHOP has reinforced mounts that have additional supports welded to the mount for a stronger unit - that will last.

most of us rebuild them or buy reinforced mounts, shonutperformance should stock them, also shobros.

How many motor mounts are there on the 3.0L engine? On Ford websites, I'm seeing a front left, front right, and rear mount...for a total of 3. Is that correct?

There are two motor mounts, front and rear, and one trans. mount.

Is this for an ATX (auto) or MTX (stick) SHO? Can i assume MTX, since you said 3.0?
