The two left rear GTP control arms are too short and need to be cut down. Do I cut them at the threads? Also, with my SHO lowered with SHOshop Linears and Tokicos, the swaybar endlink screw that comes out facing the tire seems to be awfully close to the tires. I had to run 205/55/16 so I could take it to the alignment shop to have them align it. Is it possible for me to shave down the end of the screw that is facing the tire so I can fit my 225/50/16 tires on? Or is this a bad idea. For some reason, the driver side tire isn’t as close to the screw as the passenger side one is. Thanks in advance for the input.

Also, is it possible to get those control arms off, cut and reinstalled without a complete lift? In other words, is it possible to do this in the driveway. Thanks.

You meant to say that they are too long, right? Yeah, just cut one of the tubes at the threads. The one with the right hand threads would be the best. Then just clean up the threads with a dye. You should be able to remove/re-install the arms with just a set of jackstands to prop the car up by it's frame.
