How do I remove the cover on the moonroof so I can replace the switch? The switch decided to break with it open.

You first have to pop out the lights(buttons) from the inner ends(pull straight down), then there will be two screws behind them. Unscrew those screws and swing it back and you're done.

Damn, that worked. I've been wanting to fix that for a while now. Thanks for the short instructions. :thumb:

What glue is suggested to make sure that the switch does not come off again? Will gorillia glue work?

:)

I'd think twice before you make a permanent attachment of the OE switch, it's not a good design and once you've welded it in place it may fail and then your stuck with tearing up your fascia. Check the link I put in above and look at the NAPA replacement part. I did this and JB Welded the switch on confident I won't be replaceing it too soon.

My $0.02.
