I just received my full moonroof kit from someone on this forum, and I have no idea how to put it on the car. I was wondering if someone would be able to let me know how to do this.
everything from the assembly is still on my car except for the glass, and the slider inside to get rid of the sunlight.
I've taken a look at the top of my car, and the screws just look like round holes in them instead of regular screws. I have everything needed but if someone could help me out, maybe a write up, would be much appreciated.

there are screws that hold the glass in - 3 per side.

there are screws on the front too - 3 of them.

there are rivets that hold the track in - 5 per side. you need to drill them out with a 3/8" drill and a stop so you don't drill too deep. you need to rivet the tracks back in.

From service manual:
"Drill out 10 rivets using a 3/8" drill stop."

Its been a long time since I did one of those - maybe its 3/8" deep, I don't recall.

I just did a a headliner restoration in a 94 mtx a couple of months ago and I know I didn't have to drill out 10 of anything to get it in and out...If I did, it was not 10 rivets. I would not start drilling until someone else chimes in. There is a better way.... If I remember right there are just screws that connect the whole assembly to the the roof. I am not where I can look at a unit right know or I could be able to guide you further on this.... I fairly certain that it can be taken out with out drilling but I could be wrong.... but I know it was not 10 rivets. Maybe it was for Gen 1 .Looks like you have a 93

The whole thing comes out as one assembly..the tracks come out with it. From there you can remove the glass , and the sun shade. That is what I recall.

There are 5 rivets on each side.
They are accessable thru the moonroof opening.
The rear of the track is held in by a clip on each side.
There are 4 screws that secure the track as well.
2 Are located above the moonroof motor.
1 Is on either side of the track and used to secure the plastic plate onto the top of the track.

I reinstalled my track with 8-32 nutserts and stainless bolts in lue of rivets.
Metric equivalent to 8-32 would be a M4-0.70.
Use a pan or truss head bolt.
Nutserts are pressed in with a tool, similar to rivets except the nutsert has a threaded hole to accept a bolt.
It is a captive nut similar to a caged nut or a welded in place nut.
You can use a bolt with a nut if a nutsert isn't feasable to you.

Now is also a good time to reseal the track to the body.
I used a sticky back black foam cut to 3/8" wide.

Nevermind, it seems my back two were not held in by rivets, they were cliped in. I went to Napa, and they said a bolt and nut would have two big of a head on it, because rivets are flat, any ideas where I should go and what I should get exactly?

Sorry about that, it's been ten years.
Here's a pic of the clips at the rear.
Use a pan or truss head bolt.
I believe I used a pan head with a phillips drive.

Well, I got it, And I got my new roof on. and tested it out pouring water over it, and there is a leak on the passenger side and it just lets all the water in, it's weird.

they all leak.

you have large drain tubes to drain the water that leaks down the A pillars to the ground without having a flood inside. you need to check to see that the drain tubes are not plugged up.

plus you are in AZ, when was the last time it rained????

The seal around the glass slows the water entry only.
The inner body structure (where the track mounts) acts like a trough and channels the water to the drain tubes at the four corners.
If the tubes are clogged the water will rise over the troughs and cause a leak into the cabin.
Also, if you did not reseal the track to the inner body leaks will occure.
