nah you gotta run coils from the front suspension of a 1987-91 ford pick up with KYB struts. just cut 2-3 coils off the truck springs, you'll be fine.

oh, and make sure to take a video camera next time you go drifting so we can all laugh at what you break the next time out.

Dude.. weve all answered your questions before.. i even TOLD you to try a search again.. i was being nice and giving you the benefit of the doubt because ive been there before with the not really knowing what to ask, search for etc. If your dad is a SHO mechanic then he should know HALF if not more of the information you were asking on the forum here. ALSO, the reason we dispute the gen 3 top speed is because we all know the car doesn't have enough power to get it that high stock.. MAINLY because the gen 2's are faster and still hit a brick wall before that speed. that and half the guys you were calling liars know more about SHO's if not automotive anything that you EVER will.. Yeah the SHO is a fun car to drive and mod etc, but you dont have the IQ to own one. If you cant even tell when the answer is right in front of you, i really dont trust in your ability to change struts..... I hate civic owners more that than the next guy(Ricers).. and man, you need to sell your SHO and get a civic because i think youll fit in NICELY with that crowd... im not helping you anymore because you aren't even listening.. Watch this neat trick? I took the high road this time ! Hey kid be patient,be a little more concise,don,t multi post the same subject 3 times ,and when you do get responses weight the facts before ya ask the same exact question again.Also the search button in the modified section is your buddy! Proper punctuation is a good thing too!So take this as friendly advice or if your worried about being dissed or respected(we screw with everyone)this might not be the forum for you.Now go buy some sensa tracs struts,new mounts and moog cargo springs as this is more than likely the best combo for your driving style.Do a search in gen 2 suspension mods to see how and where to cut the springs!Not that that advice hasn,t been given 12 umpteen times. Good luck with the car hope you have it on the road again soon.

from what ive been reading (im in the process of getting ready to purchase too) is that for a good ECO suspension thats good and "cheaper" will be the cut Moogs with sensa trac's.. I drove a SHO with this set up at the convention (granted it has SF connectors and a front strut tower brace) and it rode very nicely... I on the other hand, am not sparing any money on this and am going with intrax and koni's..Yeah, its a lot of coin, but i also have driven a car with these (granted that was not even CLOSE to stock......Jason....) and enjoyed the fact i could adjust my strut and LOVED how it felt once you get them nice and stiff and start playing with it! thats my .02

ALSO, if you havent already, go and replace most of your other components too if they are getting older such as ball joins, sway bar end links, tie rods etc of that nature.. Either way be looking to spend between 500-1500 for a good reliable set up it looks like.

Ha.. I felt bad for him when i make that post i quoted because he was getting flamed.. I just went through and read some of the other posts hes made and he just doesnt stop.. He just talks and talks and doesnt think to SEARCH before he asked a question.. I usually don't say search because a lot of the time a person will have a more specific question or they didnt find exactly what they were looking for while searching, but every question this guy has had, HAS been answered before in detail before, AND when he asked the question, we ALL re-answered it, yet, he kept going asking the same questions over and over and over.
