I can seem to get this thing to run right. I have all the bolt-ons, with the Pro-M 77mm MAF. I have the LPM but am not currently running it (doesn't seem to make a difference). The car runs a little rough and the computer just seems to be searching for the proper engine management preameters constantly. Yet when I installed my gauges I had the batery disconnected for the better part of a day and it ran awesome when I first got it going once the computer was cleared. It idled and ran silky smooth and pulled really hard all the way through the tack. It just loved the default X2J setting but about 2 days later the computer had it running rough again and definately fealt weaker especially in the 2500 - 5000 RPMs. Any help would be appreciated.

sunny San Juan Bautista,
Yeah it's frustrating when the default computer parameters work better than the learned parameters. You'd think that the engineers would have been able to code the computers so they could figure out when the default codes are the best ones and just go with those. Guess lowest emmisions takes precedence over better running.

Is there any way to remedy this? Can an LPM progran force the computer to run its default settings or something?

Maybe just coincidence Ron, but has anything become accidentally disconnected, or the slight chance that maybe an O2 is bad or something?

Which LPM is it?

Its Ted's LPM but wouldn't matter because I'm not even running it currently anyway. I tryed this again and same result. No codes, everything connected. Its just that the learned codes aren't as good as the default program. O2 are pretty new BTW.

Maybe try a new computer? Dunno. shrug Or have the LPM re-programmed from Ted.

Anyone else know how good the Ted B LPM is for MTX cars? Is it really worth having, if you were running something along the lines of a Stage one setup? I know that for the ATX they are one of the most helpful mods as it beefs up the shifts. I heard the SHOSHOP LPM is crap. Is Ted's any better?
