Misfiring?

I just cleaned my IAB today and it helped the surging problem somewhat. I still get the surging, for example in 2nd gear at 3k rpms or so if I give it half throttle there's almost a machine gun noise coming from the engine until the secondaries open at 4. It also surges a bit until the secondaries open... not quite as much as before but it is noticeable. Would plugs and wires be the culprit? Help me out!

It could be a few things. Are there any computer codes? Plugs and wires are a good start. Other places to look are TPS,VSS,CID,PIP sensors.
