Hello folks - I have a '94 SHO w/ 3.0L & 5 speed transmission. I am looking for three (3) formed hoses located under the intake manifold which interconnect the thermostat housing, the throttlebody, and something called a "spacer".
I have a .pdf that shows the exploded drawing of the hoses, and part #s, but was unable to attach to this thread.

I am looking specifically for:

a) 8548(6) = p/n 0E9DZ-8548-C (unknown part to tbody)

b) 8548(7) = p/n 0E9DZ-8548-D (tstat to spacer)

c) 8548(8) = p/n 0E9DZ-8548-E (spacer to tbody)

If anyone knows of vendor for these items, please reply.

You live in Nevada. You can bypass those hoses safely. ****, I live in NY, and I've bypassed mine with no ill effects.

The purpose of those hoses is to keep the TB warm in sub-freezing temperatures to prevent freezing at speed.

If you really want to replace the hoses, you can use bulk heater hose to get the job done. You'd be pretty hard pressed to find those hoses new.

Bypassing those TB hoses is not the only option. Just get a length of SAE 30R9 fuel injection hose from Autozone and replace them. You do not need to use formed hose. There is one where formed hose would be convenient, but you can substitute a longer length of straight hose and loop it to make the bend. There is plenty of room for the extra length of hose.

Coolant hose, IAB to engine, KM-1722 - E9DZ-8548-D = NBH 10020
Coolant hose, TB to IAB, KM-1723 - E9DZ-8548-E = NBH 10240
Coolant hose, TB to engine, KM-1721 - E9DZ-8548-C = ?

The last set of "NBH" numbers are the Napa part numbers - they do sell the pre-formed hoses for the TB, if you wish to retain the coolant flow through the TB. The TB bypass was my first SHO 'project' when I had my SHO for 5 days and one of the little hoses started to leak.

I can't find the Napa part number for that last hose.....

I'm pretty sure I have some used ones laying around that don't leak, if you're interested. I know for sure I have 2 of the 3, I'd have to check for the 3rd. Let me know.

$5 donation to the forum and the cost of shipping, they're yours.

Thanks!

Thanks folks for all the replies... unfortunately, my mechanic dropped his bike over the weekend (and is dealing with the resulting roadrash), so I haven't had a chance to discuss your ideas with him yet.

I'm investigating that TB bypass, cause I damn sure don't want to pull the intake manifold if I can avoid it. Much obliged for the responses.

You can do it without pulling the manifold. It takes about 15min and can be done with 1 of the hoses. Easiest and best thing to do.
