I found it at Walmart. I used rubbing alcohol first before applying the promoter. I used Deep Jewel Green paint. They didn't carry the Metallic, oh well.

How did they turn out, can you get pics? and for the paint was it a rattle can??

gen 1 mirrors areful at being what they are....mirrors to watch behind you.

first thing to go on any gen1 I own...

I used Mothers "Mag Polish" on the black plastic on my '95 mirrors. After a few coats and some elbow grease they are a nice deep glossy black that seems to last for awhile. I redo them everytime I wax my car - which to me isn't really that big of a deal to keep them lookin good.

What it does is removes the oxidation from the plastic.
