So I noticed the coilovers available on SHOBro's Website for $400. Not bad for a set of coilovers, but who makes them? What springs come with the kit? What struts are reccommended? Can factory replacement struts be used or is another strut needed?

Also, what bushings are reccomended for the rest for the suspension? Moog TPR is kind of bogus to me, as I feel it really just degrades ride quality more than provides response.

Gasp... yes, I just said it. Moog isn't that great.

But these coilovers seem to be what I'm looking for. The thought of a corner-balanced, streetable SHO makes me smile.

Are there adjustable links needed to bring the car to factory alignment specs, or are there "new" reccomended specs?

And last, are GTP control arms reccomended to compliment the coilovers?

Thanks in advance. My search button works, but I just need some disscussion or verification.

The Midwest/SHObros coilovers are modified Ground Control units. Make sure to use the Koni shocks with coilovers, as they are the only ones that can even try to keep up with the higher spring rates.

All the info is in the listing as well.

They are Ground Control coil overs (cheaper then Ground Control). Eibach makes the springs.

You must use Konis in order to be able to handle the springs.

I would go with Moog, I have some in my SHO.

Yes GTPs are highly recommended to handle the drop. You can have the welds on the strut plat removed to adjust the front to be with in spec.

Rememeber thoguh that if you have it adjusted with a certian drop and then adjust it agian it will be out of spec.

I'm not trying to be a d*ck, but there were No modifications made to my ground control kit. Buy them direct, and save some coin. A search "back up" my statement. Other than that, I love them! My plus handles amazing, and I can adjust the ride height with the twist of an allen wrench. How low can you go?:naughty:

They're cheaper on shobros then from ground control.

You don't bother to corner balance the car after you adjust your ride height?

Thanks for the info, guys.:thumb:

Any other complimentary upgrades reccomended that SHOsBros doesn't list?
