On the scale of 1-10 a meth kit install is about a 7...we definitely encourage either only master home wrenches or a professional tackle this install. We do provide you with instructions, but it is fairly easy to mess up without realizing it.

As for the gains from the kit with our tuning. There are large tq gains to be had with this addition. We are using the meth injection kit as a dual purpose mod. The meth is a natural coolant for a hot motor. But, because of how easily simple modifications will meet the fueling limitation of you EcoBoost we are also using it for its higher octane and volume attributes. A car that is full bolt on with our meth kit and out tune can expect to be in the 400-420whp and 460-480wtq range! We are able to tune far more aggressively and still be well within our safe limitations with the addition of methanol. We even had a build like this featured in "Road&Track"!

I saw my first meth injection car run this summer at convention. Its was AWESOME!, also he just laid down the fastest pass with just bolt ons and stock turbos. He ran 11.991. First stock turbo car to do this. Meth is planned for my '13, but on the back burner for now, but LME Alky system will be the kit I put on.

I'm wondering about the "user friendliness," of this mod! Is there a tank you have to keep full of methanol and where do you get this stuff? How fast do you go through a tank - is it tripped every time you go WOT or how does it work? If it triggers on WOT, I'll burn through a tank in a couple days! Can you run the car without any meth in the "meth tank?"
I'm obviously a huge newbie to Meth - mom always said to stay away from it bc it'll turn your teeth brown and add about 30 years instantly!
Thanks!

That would be great....I drive the car everyday will it affect the reliability ? Or can I still use as a daily

PM Sent!

The car will still be as driver friendly as it is now. You can go do all wheel drifting and then go get the kids from soccer!

There is a 1G tank that has to be maintained like your gas tank. How quickly you go through it is all based upon how you drive. There are several local clients of varying makes and models that come and get VP Racing Fuels M1 every 30-45 days. There are some guys that need it every 2 weeks. @bpd1151 can tell you about his usage. He is a fairly good barometer of how often a more aggressive driver needs to top it off. As for how it works, the methanol is triggered by the module demanding it to fire. It fires at startup and under moderate load as well. You can purchase M1 by the 5G pail at almost any speed shop.

They can tell you every place in your area that is near you that sells M1!

Thanks for the info, guys! :thumb:

Interesting reading. I'm a pretty old-school hot-rodder. Harleys and old British cars lately, lots of muscle cars in the past, and I did build Top Fuel dragsters and funny cars back in the 90s, so I'm not exactly a new-comer!

My phone is a far better computer than the stuff we used back in the day! :D
