I am reinstalling the metal retainers for the molding. Does the lip on the retainer point up?
I can get the molding on with the lip up but it is (so far) impossible to install the molding with the lip pointing against the body.
With the lip up, the diagonal part of the short retainer is on the bottom. But when the molding piece is installed with the lip upward, he diagonal end should be on the top end of the retainer so the diagonal runs parallel with the molding
For the long strip on the bottom there are two diagonal aligning holes which forces the lip to be down (against the body).
You cannot mix up the sides of the bottom molding.
A quick answer would appreciate as I am installing the pieces now.
I'll wait for an anwer before proceeding.
Thanks
