I have a black 92 SHO. Inside the passenger side headlight lens there is a metal piece that has came off and laying on the bottom of the lens. The bulb still works. Is there a way to get that piece back on by going through the hole that the bulb goes in or is there a way to take the lens apart to fix this? Thanx for any help.

One of mine's been like that for about a year now probably. Its too big to get out of the light socket, and I'm too lazy to replace it with the replacement I bought.

You can always remove the light, pre heat the oven for 250, lay the light on some cardboard for about 15 mins. use gloves of course, then pry the lens off the light itself. walla...put the light back together, put some clamps on the outer edges. put back in over for 10 mins. there u go

Indeed, do that, but reglue it back together with a good quality clear sealant instead of just trying to reuse old cruddy stuff. The crap that they use for factory turns ugly and yellow over time.

Old ones do take a good bit of prying, 215 to 220ish for 10 minutes or so, pull it out and go to town on it before it cools, gonna have to pry on it prolly.
