Well guys, El Toro has got new rings(total seal) again and a Quaife with a freshly rebuild tranny. I think I've thrown the whole sho shop cataloge at it. The only thing I need now is a intercooler . After properly breaking it in I decided to see what he's got. oh_my WoW, thats all I can say! Sometimes it hooks up at 35 and sometimes it dosen't till 50 headbang .I think its the type of road. And its not smoking anymore(yet). The quaife does make the car feel different when normal driving(or maybe its just me). Anyways, I'm all ready to go!!!!! thumb

As the lucky person who got to sit in the pass. seat on it's first drive after breaking in, I gotta say WOW, thumb 15psi is sweet, accelerates so fast all you do is shift, and shift and then stop before the speedo is pegged. At 30 Tony can let onto it, and damn it launches, and pulls so hard, I was tryign to keep eye on the boost guage through a few launchs, on the only dead stop' lets see what she'll do run't I noticed that the 0-60 time is well under 5 and that was with the quafie working up the front tires into a good spinup. The 60-130 is much lower than you would believe. The biggest thing is what it will do when you let onto it, no more pull to the side, just a swift hard kick in the ass as it launches forward, and then shift and repeat. I now see how he was able to blow away Z06's. I can now say that it will EAT A Z06. I'd like to see it up against a viper, or a new 2003 s/c cobra. wink
Well now I need 2 vortechs 1 for the Big Red, 1 for the RX7. Damn addiction.

Awesome, great to hear Tony. I am hoping to have the turbo back together soon (with a revised intake). Now go eat some Vipers!
