I have used many a waxes on my car ranging from turtle wax, mothers, zymol, liquid luster, and megiures. The best out of them all is Meguires. Take a step into the proffesional series of Meguries and you enter a whole new world. In the "profesional series" you have over 26 bottles to choose from 1 being the most abrasive to 26 the very least. I purchase a bottle of #2 meguries fine cut, which is designed to pretty much to clean the paint surface remove blemishes and remove scratches. It is some really stong stuff and should be used in a good ventailated area, beacuse this stuff smells like paint thinner. Once finished anialating the paint, I pampered it with a nice soft coat of Meguires #20 Polymer Sealant for long lasting gloss protection and overall appearance. Application and removal was with ease with an orbital buffer and also easy by hand. Keep in mind to use a different applicator pad for each differnt type of wax. I recomend this process for most of the SHO owners out there that want to bring that high gloss and depth back to there paint. By the way try it on the rims(im not crazy, try it!!)The cost for all the products?
$24 for the #2 and #20 meguries wax
$2 for applicator pads
$6 for terry towels
So what does $32 result in?

Looks good! You can't go wrong with the Meguiar's product line. Wheels are no different than body panels. A painted surface should get the same treatment so it's not crazy to wax your rims. It makes cleaning brake dust off so much easier folks! The wheels are very close to some harsh elements so the added protection can only be a good thing.
