Is there any way to bore out the 3.4L to a 4L and still have enuf side wall to run boot levels of say 20lbs. Is the stock bottom end forged? If it is what grade of steel is it? One last question, would the heads and valve trian stand up to 20lbs of boost?

No motor is going to stand up to 20lbs of boost without some serious modification. Is there a basis for your decision on this number or was it just something you plucked out of the air?

You can make a 20psi ticking time bomb or you can make a faster 10psi dependable (relatively) car. You just have to have the money and the know how.

Yeah I just plucked it out of the air. I was thinking more along the lines of 8psi normal driving and kicking it up for the weekend drags.
