sorry to here you got standed fred. if i knew you were sitting on the side of the highway i could have called one of my friends over at Achin's and had them rush a ramp truck out to you instead of having you wait.
And one last thing i want Jay's SHO, and now my back feels better than ever from that ride. :hail:

This was a great meet; hats off to Chris and Ken for pulling it off like they did! The turnout was great! Alan, good to hear that your car made it back on the road. I made it home ok, although the traffic through CT sucked lik no other. :smash:

See you guys next time! :thumb:

well when we got to Rodman we saw that the parking lot to the dealer was roped off and that the parking was actually in the stadium parking lot..so at that point we just kinda pulled over to figure out if we were even going to bother because seeing the parking was on Gillette Stadium grounds it was a safe bet they were charging to park...so it basically turned into a spur of the moment photo op and after we all discussed what was going on we just decided to go right to my house seeing we were only 5 mins away...

Sounds good.

Tell me if you need any parts for your car......The 302 and AOD are coming out of my 93 SC and it will be going to the scrap heap.

Why did you put a 302 in a SC?

I have to say, sorry I missed it. I was at Indy at the convention. It looks like there was as many at the breakfast meet as there were at the convention. Still had a good time I guess in either place. Learned a few tid bits though. See you in August!!

Why did you put a 302 in a SC?

The goal with the car at the time was to get it running right with the 5.**. ** motors and 351's use the same firing order which differ from the standard 302. The end result would have been to swap the 302 out again and go with a 351 based stroker. The 302HO was obviously available for the birds, so it gave a good starting point for the future 393. Ultimately I was hoping to get a reliable 5-600HP out of her. Time, space, etc, etc, contributed to me scrapping the project. Pretty sad considering the last motor I had in the car stood me somewhere around 15k and I never even got to start it,,,,,and that was my 3.8! Bummer for me.

Anyhow, I bought a 95 5speed SC. I always liked these later models better so I decided to tinker with this one. I have limited space at my new shop, so I;m not able to have 5 birds like I previously did. Hopefully I can get a healthier motor in this bird....Who knows, an 8cylinder 5 speed bird would be cool. Think of the abundant aftermarket for 302's. Then think about the aftermarket for SHO's and SC's.......the choice would be pretty clear if you wanted to make some big power.

ANyway...thats the brief history. I have owned the 93 SC for going on 5 years and only put 3500-4000 miles on it. LOL! Pretty sad. Actually depressing.
