Many thanks to Tom for rolling out the welcome mat for us in a grand fashion yesterday. If only I could have figured out how to sneak his lift out of the garage and back to my place.

Good meeting you all, too. A total of five SHOs in attendance, though there was a bit of confusion when one silver '95 left just before another showed up. And my car got to meet its evil twin. Or was it the good twin? Never did figure out which had the goatee.

I took some pictures and will post when I get them off the camera. But right now I'm going to go complain about this sunburn for a bit. I swear the valley has a huge lens over it, focusing all of those sunbeams.

I posted a "Thank you" in the Hall of Fame section. I will say it here too. I echo the same as rbruso. Many thank you's for Tom's hospitality out at his place, feeding us some awesome pizza, and keeping our thirsts quenched with a fridge full of beverages. It was great meeting everyone yesterday.

I have some pics too, but my internet here in my hotel is ridiculously slow compared to what I have back home in Indiana. I will upload them when I get back home.

Hopefully I get to hang out with all of you again. :)

The guys gave me some tips. Things haven't worked out for anyone returning my calls to show me any homes to rent.

It's all going to depend on where I get work. I am looking at Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler areas. They look nice and clean. Some of the places I am considering for work are in these areas.

Did you come up with a place to look for a casa?

Twins, right down to the police grilles and Yamaha badges. One is evil, though opinions differ on which it is. :)

One '95 silver leaves and another shows up. And I thought green was the "ultra rare" color for 2nd gens. :)

Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of the black 3rd gen that showed up just before I left.

Great time.

I was there in the morning with my silver '95. I had to cut out right after lunch due to some family stuff, but I came back later in the afternoon for a little while with son #2 in my wife's black '97.

Words cannot express how much I envy Tom for his awesome shop. Also, getting to sit in the "monster truck racecar" made a big impression on the 2-year old. Thanks again, Tom.

I'll post some more pics if I have any that are different from what's already been posted. Unfortunately I also forgot to take more pics when I came back in the afternoon with the Gen3.
