Was a vibration in the clutch pedal about a week ago and so we went to Shuck's asked what type of fluid it would take they sold us 80-90W gear oil (not know better we) drained the old stuff and put in the gear oil WRONG thing to do! Got a hold of a friend he said to get that gear oil out of there ASAP and replace it with Dextron 2 or 3 or Type F we did this now the car grinds really bad when we want to put it into reverse and (if it will go into reverse) and when we drive it, and we come to a stop we have to take it out of 1st gear because the car starts to idle funny like it wants to die! Please if you can help us with this problem either give me a call @253-864-0963 ask for Mike or send us a message here we are really trying to fix this as this is the only car we have.

To me it sounds like the clutch is bad an in need of replacement or the tob is falling apart so either way it is a clutch problem. But you may be lucky and the cable is streatched so try to adjust the clutch via the pedal adjust. If the clutch adjust/cable does not fix it my money is on the clutch.

You have he wrong fluid in it again. You should be using Dex V synthetic only or Scncro-shift fluid from BG! At this point you will want to fill it w/dexV run for a little bit, drian and refill with Dex V. Good luck!!

Most people use Mobil One ATF or some other good synthetic equivalent in the manual transmission. Mine has worked fine on it for over 50,000 miles. It won't cure any mechanical problems of course, but once they are fixed, It will help keep them from reoccurring.

A lot of people have used Synchromesh with mixed results. Some people really like it, some don't. I used it for a little while and didn't like it. IMHO, Mobile 1 ATF is the best bang for the buck you can find: it's not expensive and it's very, very good ATF. A lot of people (myself included) have been using it for a long time with good results.

A good percentage of the track hounds use Mobile 1 ATF in their track cars. It seems like Redline and Mobile 1 are the most popular for track use, in my experience.
