Should I order a clutch for the STi now, or wait until Monday? ;)

Haha... I think that clutch has some life left in it :) I'm running a stock tune now. My intake comes in on Tuesday, but I picked up the stock hose it does not come with yesterday here locally.

Geeze, I must be spoiled because of Bandimere, because MAM's 1/8 track is absolutely EMBARASSING. It's like they took an old ROUGH road and turned it into a track. Motorcycles were bouncing and FWD car REALLY could not hook up from the bumps in the road (yeah, I said bumps). Bandimere is COMPLETELY SMOOTH to the point it feels like you're floating and not a SINGLE bump. With that surface, it would be unsafe to do anything more than an 1/8 as you'd be going too fast over that surface. Chris, when you think of this track, think of that road we filmed our cars doing over 100mph in Pueblo. Some cars started spinning half way down the track because of the bumps and the clean up they did after someone sprayed the track left sand (SAND!) on the track.

On the other hand, the road course looks fun....

he can't/won't race it or put the stage 2 tune on until he gets a stock airbox...
Yup!

I'd hate to embarass you with a 24 year old 98hp pickup...

Do it.

I'm not the chris you're talking to but those sound like terrible conditions. When I think drag strip I think smooth as glass.

Hurry your ass up and visit KC! KCIR has a perfectly flat reground surface that was done using a laser-guided machine. Its so smooth that I could put some ice skates on and glide down the asphalt. Friend of mine is the driver for the Nitro Madness FA/AA car. He does regular 6.5-7 second passes here.

Even PMI isn't that bad... Sure, you roll out of the lights, but at least the track is smooth. Crazy.

The road course is pretty sweet. A friend posted some in-car video last year, I'll see if I can find it and post a link.
