Maine folks going to Convention...

Is there a group from Maine planning to caravan down to the convention? I'm going to be on vacation at my uncle's lakehouse in Wayne, ME next week (convention week). I'm coming up there this Saturday and will be hanging out all week. If there's a caravan heading down to the convention I'd like to meet up and cruise down with yall if possible. I don't have a hotel booked nor have I registered for the convention yet, I'm wingin it for right now but I'll get everything together. Anyway, let me know, thanks

I would go solo and take 219 to 26 to Rte 2W almost into NH, but just before take 113S. Then take a right onto South Chatham Rd and follow that to Hurricane Mountain Rd. Follow Hurricane Mountain Rd to the end and then turn right onto 302W. Pass Attitash and take a left onto Bear Notch Rd. At the end take a right onto the Kancamangus Highway and take that to I-93.

I will be going though Maine Sunday. I am crossing at Woodstock NB into Maine on 95 then taking that right down to 495. I should be reaching 95 in Maine around 15:00 maybe a bit sooner on Sunday.

Thanks for the advice yall, much appreciated. As it turns out, I am not going to have my SHO with me up in new england this week, and thus I will not have my SHO at the convention if I come. Needless to say I would almost be ashamed to have my SHO anywhere near yours Marcel, mine truly would look god awful next to your beauty I've just had a bad feeling about the car lately. It could probably make the trip, but then again it has some minor problems and I'm just not confident in it making such a huge trip at the moment despite the fact that I'm a AAA Gold member. Instead, I will have my fathers '05 Taurus up there, and if I come to the convention I will be in that or my uncle's early 90's f-350 which is his lakehouse truck. I'm heading north early tomorrow morning, staying the night near Hartford CT, and hitting up Boston on Sunday. I was bidding on some O's @ Sox tickets on eBay (I"m an O's fan, and every baseball fan needs to visit Fenway at some point in their life) but some ****** outbid me in the final second (damn automatic bids). So instead of Fenway + the aquarium I will only hit the aquarium. Sunday night or monday morning (haven't decided yet) I will continue on up to Maine where I will relax and fish like it's my job. I'll hopefully come down to the convention for a day or two, but at this point just a day since I don't have a hotel reservation; I have not decided what day yet. I'm looking forward to this trip, it's going to be awesome and as of tonight I am on three week vacation!! New England trip this coming week, Isle of Palms @ Charleston SC the following week, Holden Beach with the girlfriend the next week in line.

By the way, I will have a laptop with me this week, so I might get in touch with you Marcel or other folks and perhaps find yall along the interstate somewhere and join the caravan down to the convention. The lakehouse is not even 20 miles off I-95 right near Augusta; it's on Lake Pocasset

Don't matter what any car looks like. Its the people that matter. I will have my lap top with me of course. Not sure how much wireless I can get but I will check up on it. I also have my GMRS radio. Channel 8 is the convention channel will tune it on if required. I leave Cape Breton Island NS at 8am tomorrow. And heading for New Brunswick to cross into ME.
