i've been doinga little readingon thedifferentfunctions of tweecer r/t. One thing I have seen goes like this..

MAF Transfer function = PROM_24 provided with TwEECer - I entered the flow curve for my Pro-M into the MAF Transfer function. The improvements in drivability were dramatic. Virtually every issue I was concerned about was fixed in one fail swoop. There were no power gains noticed with the change but my comfort level with the car equaled that of a new car. I was now ready to move forward with the big stuff.

i've entered the 9 points from my pro-M 80mm paperwork into EECanalyser, using the ACT VOLTS and STAND KG/H. Now with that programmed in there and saved, where do I go with that? i can enterthe same 9-10pointsinto teh MAF TRANSFER section in Tweecer, i that what I am supposed to do, to get the "results" from what i quoted in italics above?

Also do I start with the top and the highest numbers or the lowest numbers or does it even matter? i'm eager to playwiththe Tweecer, but not mess things up. I'm just wondering if by entering my mAF sheet i can make me car run a little smoother with the Pro-M.

thanks

You should enter those numbers into the TwEECer and convert them to 30 points... If you are using the curves that come with the TwEECer, I think you want to go with the Pro-M19.

Before messing with the MAF, you should tune your injector slope. Once that tuned, then you move on to the MAF. The EEC Analyzer will do the calculations for you on the injectors and the MAF.

For the injectors, you input the numbers yourself. For the MAF, you can export it into the TwEECer.

jason the one reason I wnated to add in my MAF numbers cause I have the paper here, and I'm still getting wierd stuff from the eecanalyser. MAF stuff I could just add in easy.

I think I got my AIM problem figured out, so I can send you a datalog file and see if you see why things are crazy :)

also if I clear the KAM via that barrel connector negative to the PCM, does that wipe out what the Tweecer have stored in it? I wouldn't thike it would but I wanted to be sure. i noticed last night that my KAMRf wans't staying near 1. someone needs to write up some papers on this stuff for people to learn from. :)

also in the scalars my MAF voltage minimum says .341797, but my PRO-M has a listed minvoltage ov .0140 listing as FLOW = 0.0 Should I change that inthe scalars to reflect what the PRO-M sees?

Bruce,

You'll find that even the numbers Pro M gives you are off. Ultimately, that will get you close, but the EEC Analyzer will show you that it will need to be changed. After putting the 30 points into the TwEECer, I would not worry about the MAF until you have the injector slope tuned. I have even been told by Josh that tuning the injectors with the stock MAF is even better. Then swap your Pro M back and tune that.

A quick way to clear the KAM is to load up a Mustang file (A9L?) as an X2J program. You can download the Mustang one from TwEECer. This will confuse the computer and reset the KAM. Do this with the car off and the ignition on. You'll hear the fuel pump and fans come on if you loaded the Mustang file correctly. This is much easier and faster than disconnecting the ground under the hood.

When you wipe the KAM, the TwEECer is not affected.

Check your mail in a few minutes.

I'd leave that alone... That is what will trigger your CEL if you enter the wrong numbers.

hmm ok I won't mess with that

BTW Josh told me how to fix the rev limiter. i'm gonna try putting my my stock MAF back in so that I start with injector slope stuff like you say.

Yeah, I have the equation for changing the rev limiter... but I just can't find it. You wanna send it to me and I'll just enter it into the TwEECer notes.

Thanks,
