Starting to get the same acceleration hesitation I was getting a few years back. That was cleared up by cleaning the MAF sensor.

Where is the sensor located? I want to see if I can clean it myself without having to pay Ford $150 to the job.

No MAF, 2 MAPs, one just before the throttle body and one on top of the intake manifold.
Can I ask you to post pictures? And are the MAPs plug-type sensors or some other kind of design?

"Ragin' Bull" is in kind of a sorry state these days. 11 months of unemployment, coupled with driving for Uber, have not been kind. The butcher's bill is disheartening:

Badly cracked windshield---Geico won't fix and Safelite won't honor their warranty.
Front passenger door lock actuator totally dead.
Trunk wing broken on the passenger side...backed under the lip of a semi trailer while half asleep one morning. Trunk itself is scraped down to the metal and lightly dented in 1 spot.
As of last week, the #1 fob isn't working. Unlock and trunk buttons work, but lock and remote start buttons feel jammed somehow. Remote start is inop.

At least there's some hope. I got an offer of federal civilian employment at the top of the GS-9 grade on Monday. Just gotta get my clearance reinstated and I'm off.

Hoping I can turn to you guys for some helpful inputs. Thanks for letting me vent a little...

Circled in yellow. Apologies for the filthy looking engine, it was the first picture I found on google. First sensor is just past the intercooler to throttle body pipe, 2nd sensor you will have to remove your engine cover to access. Remove the torx screw (think they are T15), they are usually kind of tight so twist on it while you pull up. Might have to stick a little flat blade screwdriver under it while you are twisting to get it to pop out.

Thank you! How are they supposed to be cleaned...brush or wd40, or some other way?

Thanks for this picture. Regarding no MAF sensor the shop manual shows that there is one right at the location of the air filter, item number 8 in the picture below. This is the correct engine diagram for the SHO right?

#8 is mislabeled. #8 is the IAT - Intake Air Temperature. On some vehicles with a MAF, the IAT is combined with the MAF. Not like this on the 3.5 Ecoboost.
Yes sir, I second this.

Ok, thanks for the responses. Glad I didn't pay for the manual. So items #2 and #9 are the MAP sensors correct? And the IAT at #8 gets cleaned with the same CRC cleaner?
Yes, correct to all.
