What in the Wide, Wide, World of Sports is that thing!? How do you get that screw off (now I know why someone took a dremel to it!)?

Can I go to Autozone so they can lend me a weird screw driver thingy?

Send Help!

There tamper proff Torx. I would suggest that since you don't have any, just go to a shop and get them to take them out for you then replace them with a different screws. Get stainless screws if you can.

They are called a "Security" Torx in T20 size.

The usual Rx is to:

1) Use a Dremel and make a "slotted screw"

or

2) Use a sharp punch and shear out the stub making it a regular Torx T20.

Once it's out, you can deal with future requirements if needed.

Or instead of hacking, buy a $1.20 Lisle Tamper-Resistant T-20 Torx bit.

I don't know your local stores that you can get them at (Sears here sells them), but I know you can get them from C&L when you buy one of their MAFs. Perhaps Lee Bender there can hook you up.

If you must hack, Vise Grips work to remove it too.
