maf ques?

i unhooked my maf today and ran my car for like 30secs,,no check engine light came on,,is this right?or is the light supposed to come on right away?i dissconected my tps and the light came on right away

I don't belive it will come on until you try applying some load to the engine.

If you disconnect the MAF the light should come on right away, or at least it did in my car.

Agreed. If it does not, then there may be something amiss with your MAF wiring harness.
