Hitting them isn't either, but hey not all of us have a press. As for re-installation, just yank them through with an impact and a lug nut. If they are rusty or original, replace all of them while you're at it. They're cheap and new studs save you from future hassle. Has anyone tried the new ARP lugs/studs? Their head bolts/studs are good quality, so I'd imagine the'r wheel studs are too...
