Just out of curiosity, and I'm sorry to bump into this tread.

Is there any updates on where the tweecer manual is going to be release?

thanks

Jean.

Unfortunately, we do not have any new ETAs for the tuning material project at this point. I realize that the promised documentation is well over a year late by now; however, neither Josh or myself have had very much free time to dedicate to our respective tuning projects. Case in point: I recently signed a contract on our first house, found out that we're expecting our second child, and may be taking a new position at work--all within the last week. Combined with my already busy work schedule and full-time family duties, I find that my spare time is severely limited these days, often more than I would really like. Rest assured, though, that I do spend as many possible waking moments working on the long-awaited and much anticipated tuning documents.

In the meantime, I would encourage everyone to search through the tuning forum, browse the EECTuning.org forum and post their specific tuning questions here on the fourm while they are waiting for the new tuning documents to be completed.

I actually have a couple of business-related emails out to a certain SHO vendor right now. Depending on the outcome of those business discussions, I may or may not be offering my chip programming services directly to the public.

As always, though, I promise to keep everyone updated via this thread regardless of the ultimate outcome.

See, you should mention these things once in a while. Then we wouldn't be all flippin' out and stuff... Good luck on that, by the way. Certainly not an enviable position, but I hope at least your new position is a higher ranking position.

And sorry about that last post, switching from day shift to graveyard shift sucks. I was on a caffeine high when I posted that...

Don't worry - I'll still be offering my V6 SHO programming to the masses. Only the retail portion of the business remains in question. It bascially boils down to who will be handling the customer service issues - either myself or the aforementioned SHO vendor.

Once I know something either way, I'll let you guys know.

No problem, Jason - I know you tend to be a little high-strung.

Please refer to Post #25 for now. Adam is VERY Busy right now. It's taking a bit longer than even He thought / wanted due to extenuating circumstances.

Man i know exactly what you are talking about, being married with kids is a living challenge but, is all worth it thou. Just want it add that without you and some other SHO-enthusiasts like yourself we wouldn't have some of the cool things we have now a days for our cars so, take your time and thanks for everything.:thumb:

Since the cat has already been let out the bag, I felt I should go ahead and confirm the earlier rumors that yes, I am in conversation with Brian at SHO Bros. Garage concerning a possible retail deal for my V6 SHO chip programming services. Once I have further information regarding our mutual business decision, I will post it in this thread. Please stay tuned for details.

Thank you, sir.

Unfortunately, the position didn't work out; however, I do have some other possibilities in the works. On the other hand, we are still on-track to close on our house by next Wednesday, the 28th, and begin moving in next weekend.

That said, I should note that I will probably be without internet access from March 3rd through March 6th while we are awaiting installation of our new internet service. I'll post another quick update in this thread once we're back up-and-running.

While I'm truly glad to be of service to everyone within the community, I feel that most of you guys deserve better than what Josh and I been able to deliver due to scheduling conflicts and other personal issues getting in the way. Heck, it's been well over a year since I originally hinted at the possibility of a TwEECer supplement and the other tuning material - items that all should have been completed by now. Thankfully, I have a fairly understanding AWA (whom I hope will allow me the opportunity to finish these projects), and of course, I am always continually grateful for the community's on-going support and understanding.

Although the road has been long, I can promise you that we will not let you guys down. :thumb:

After taking at least a month off from the forum and most of my automotive activities (which was quite a bit more time than I originally intended to take), I can finally report to everyone that the immediate and aforementioned business details with SHO Bros. Garage have been finalized. For now, I will continue ahead with my original plan to offer LPM programming services myself while Bob and Brian familiarize themselves with Vadim's old equipment and decide how they would like to proceed WRT SHO Bros. Chances are high that we will both combine our efforts and join forces with Josh to form a more unified solution at some point down the road.

Assuming nothing comes up, I should be able to create, finalize, and publish the LPM-related webpages this week. I'll post a thread with all the information and a link to the pages when everything is published and ready for public consumption.

As for the tuning material, I still have to dive back in and finish digesting the GU and LH strategy manuals, flesh out the book outline and do lots of writing before anything will be ready. All of this will be happening while I continue to digest my new VB.NET and Java 1.2 bibles for work; unpack boxes, organize, and tend to many "new house" chores.

Who said life wasn't fun? Stay tuned for the ever-changing details. ;)
