UPDATE-Potential group buy/discount for the new Corsa exhaust

Okay folks, I've been talking with representatives from Corsa on their new 2010 Taurus SHO exhaust system, and they're interested in setting up a discount for SHOforum/SHOclub members. I'm still working out the details on price and structure of the discount, but those details will depend quite a bit on what kind of interest there is in this exhaust system.

I know, it's hard to gauge interest when there isn't a price point--like I said, still working on it. This isn't a cheap system, but since I haven't heard anything official yet from Corsa I don't want to start throwing out numbers. More than a grand? Probably, but it is a very nice, stainless system that sounds great IMO.

I'm hoping to have some more clips soon, including one from the inside of the car. Corsa is known for having a great sound outside with virtually no drone inside, so I'm just as anxious as anyone to hear it from the inside. I'm also waiting on additional performance data, and I'll post it all as soon as I have it.

In the meantime, please post up if you're at least interested in purchasing the system, and where you're located. Don't need a specific address, just a town--that will help determine the nature of discount. Also, if you have any technical questions on the exhaust I'll see about getting them answered.

Yeah normally I wouldn't make a big deal about the clip but.. it has no sound... No video would be ok but your trying to advertise an exhaust...

HunterVF, I would be interested to see what Corsa will offer for the group buy. I will be purchasing an aftermarket system, so this is of course on the list.

In terms of the video, i hope you can put it in another format! I am really looking forward to hearing what these pipes can put out.

Right click/save as instead of watching it in the browser. In the meantime, I'll see about uploading the original, or at least getting it switched into a different format.

AFAIK that was WOT. Keep in mind that this isn't a big displacement V-8, and at WOT this car pulls away from the camera pretty quick

Is that mandrel bent! that looks like a mighty twist.. Wouldn't bother me any but some are very picky on here.. I love how it sounds by the way.. Sounds sooo good just right level wow.. I wonder how kirks compares to this.. I liked his alot. Hard to compare when recorded demo's differently.

I think a lot of folks want to see HP numbers for sure, especially seeing that the price will be expensive. I have high doubts there will any major performance gains with an exhaust on this car. I just got back from a trade show up north and actually talked to several exhaust and intake companies. It looks like Ford did a real good job on the exhaust on the car, and the only thing you will likely gain is just a better sound. This came from a couple of the manufactures in not so many words. The exhaust on the 2010 is nothing like previous models with 90 degree bends and the Y-ing off of the tips with smaller tubing. IMO, I would get a hold of Kirk and save some money with his kit. I feel you're just paying for a name with Corsa's exhaust. Just my .02 worth.

Okay, according to the folks I'm working with on this, the system should be good for 12 horsepower and 14 pound-feet of torque.

Like I said, not looking for any commitment right now, but if anyone is at least interested, please post up! Give me your general location if possible, as this may end up being a special program through a Corsa retailer or something similar.

First, there is no way in **** I would believe that that system is making that power. Second, I will probably buy it anyway. It does sound great! It is hard to tell in the picture, but is that an X pipe at the front, or are the two pipes just closer together?
