I was just wondering if you can put lowering springs on the factory struts-will it lower the car? Also, would it just be better to but all new struts at the same time? Wanting to buy Intrax springs, but I am a poor college student that doesn't want to spend the extra $500 for struts. But if it is better to just buy all at once, what do you guys/gals think is best for the Intrax? After searching I found maybe Bondurant struts(but hard to get a hold of), then maybe Tokico!?

Installing lower, higher rate springs such as the Intrax or Eibach springs without also increasing the damping of the struts will guarantee a bad combination of ride and handling. Wait until you can install both the struts and springs together. It not only saves installation time and effort, but it will also save you from a poor handling car.

Don't do springs without decent struts. Your car will feel floaty and not handle that well. I have the Konis, but I'm sure that the Tokicos would be fine. I am very pleased with the results.
