OK...one more question. When I got in the car this afternoon the radio presets and audio settings were cleared. When I turned it on it was on the "am" setting as if the battery had been disconnected. Not sure if this is just a feak ground loss or what. Is this something that commonly occurs or at least is it something that someone knows how to fix? I've only had the car one week, but this is the first time it's done it. I've already checked the battery connections.

I experienced the same problem a couple of times, and found that the memory lead pin in the harness connector had pushed out of the connecter just enough to cause intermittent power loss. A simple push and it clicked back into place and has been fine since. So, just pull the radio and check the connections.
