from what I have read the best bang for your buck mod would be the y-pipe
10-11hp.
Y pipe, keep the stock air box but yank the silencer cone out, and do all the 60K maintenance and throw a 100 shot at it.
that's generally the cheapest way to go fairly quick in these cars from what I understand short of gutting the interior and cutting weight everywhere possible.

well im thinking about doing a turbo on it at some point in time. something ive wanted to do with the previous 3 shos as well just never got to it. this one will be around a while so i plan on doing quite a lot to it. just dont know where to start
as stated above start with the y-pipe. and personally after that I would go bigger brake kit before you even put anything else on. You'll be happy you did it sooner than later.![]()
what kind of big brake kit would be recomended for it?
personally? go big or go home, get the 13" brake kit. but even the 96+ upgrade kit which has 11.6" rotors would be an upgrade over stock. but for how heavy this car is, it needs a lot of stopping power. and especially if you want to make it faster.
would the 13" kit fit inside stock blade wheels? im trying to keep the sleeper ish look of the car. and does anyone have a used y pipe they are willing to part with?
The 12" kit we sell does fit under slicers.
how much does that go for?
