Ok. i went and started up my SHO like couple days ago, first crank and it started right up, car starts up fine, but one day i started it up and it ran for like 1 minute, then it just shut off on me, then i hook up a battery charger, and it was charging hard, then when its basically done charging i go and try to start it, ran for like 10 seconds, then shut off, i hook up the battery charger again, look at the battery charger its chargin hard again, then when the battery charger is hook up and i open my door, you can see the needle on the battery charger just start to fall, then it charges hard again, to me it seems like i need an alternator, becuz when i use my power windows amd hook up the battery charger, one again it charges hard.

Just wonderin what you guys think it is:

Thanks

Could be a bad battery or alt. Also could be bad wires or dirty connections. Check and clean all of them first. Then check battery voltage when you charge it and when its running see what you get.

Check the wires and connections then, still wont hurt to check the voltage, and just because a battery is new dosn't mean its not bad.

take a volt meter and check the battery should be 12.5v - 12.9v with the car off, then turn on the car and do the same thing, IIRC it should be somewhere around 14.5v

Check your ground wire from the battery to where it connects to the body or frame if you didn't replace it with the connectors. They are notorious for rusting or coroding and causing all kinds of weird stuff to happen.

Have you made the suggested voltage check yet? Quit yappin' and start following suggestions. Report the results...

The alternator does not directly participate in engine starting. It just charges the battery so the starter will have power to crank the engine. Use an external charger to FULLY charge the battery so the alternator does not get damaged by a low battery.

Listen for the fuel pump to run for 2 seconds when the ignition is first turned to RUN without starting it. If no sound, you have an electrical issue with the fuel pump. If the pump runs, test the fuel pressure with a guage at the rail. Should be around 40 psi.

Engine sounds fuel starved from your initial symptoms.
