As impossible as it seems, I've done it. I have 2 batteries, 1 of them is from my parts car.
Have both batteries in the trunk. I can pop the hood, but the keys are locked in the car, batteries in the trunk. Can I just hook my battery cables to a set of jumper cables on my friend's battery and punch in my code? Starter's pulled off and is in the trunk as well. Help me here guys, I can't afford a locksmith and I haven't made duplicate keys yet!

Hopefully you've gotten into your car by now, but if not... I should think that would work, but be careful to ensure that the cables don't come into contact with each other or either vehicle. If you search the forum, I know there's a surprisingly easy trick to getting the back doors to open when locked using only a screwdriver (fooling with the latch under the handle).

Hope you're in soon!

Hit the Onstar Button... they'll unlock it for you. j/k ;)

If you have an alarm, it may go off when you do that.

You could always call Ford with your VIN # and they can make a duplicate key for you. I know GM did that for me years ago before I had the SHO.

I have heard the same thing, and I've also heard how they WON'T do that anymore, since you can pull the VIN off the window, and get into & drive away with someone's car that way.

That sucks. They used to make you show the registration before they'd turn the key over to you. Dishonest people suck. They ruin it for people who legitimately need help.

That sounds disgustingly easy. I know a popsicle stick won't work.. LoL All my tools are in my car and trunk! I'll have to get ahold of a screwdriver, tomorrow. Cause it's 9:30 at night, and I don't wanna bug any of the neighbors.

Coat hanger!! just fish it in beside the door and grab the lock and pull it up ( works best with a rubber coated hanger and you make a little loopand hook it around the ****) ittl take you quite a while but you shoud be able to get it. (worked for me)

We've already unlocked it, but we did it the way you just mentioned. I went between the front and rear doors though... Breaking into an SHO is easy... So much so, that it's scary.

ha, yea well come and get it! j/k If i had full coverage on it id say the car is yours haha. Even still i wouldnt get what its worth to me. Oh well, small price to pay for owning a sho. I am shocked that its that easy to break into. I guess i really ought to fix my ignition. But then again, not very many people in Waco want a sho.. They all think its just a taurus. :bonk:

Yeah, but once I'm running, we could meet somewhere and run em! :D

Actually I'd like to find a local scene and roll out there with a few SHO buddies, and SHOw them who's boss. If only I could get Tony and Murph to tag along...
