alright the previous owner of my car did a motor swap to a much lower mileage motor, did the full 60k, clutch and rod bearings but then left out ALL the torque dampers. so the motor kinda flops around like a fish outta water. now thanks to matt (frosho) i've got the dampers but i need some help as to specifically where they go. i know there is one attached to each strut tower and thats it. pics or detailed descriptions would be amazing. i'm also wondering how much of a PITA are these to put in:thankyou:

Drivers sidemounts to tranny mount I believe . There is one on the frontmotor mount that mounts to the ac , alt bracket . Passenger side rear one mounts to the funny metal hanger next to the ps pump . I'm just goingoff memory but I think that's right.

I have SHOshop solid Torque Limiters which help transfer power to the ground and save motor mounts for sale in my classified ad if you are interested.

Here's a pic sorta showing them -

008

The one on the front engine mount is pretty easy to make out. The bottom bolts in between the two small ears sticking off lower part of the mount. The top bolts to the thin bracket coming off the top part of the mount.

The other two are a little tougher to see in this picture. You can see most of the one on the driver side. The top of it bolts to the bracket on the strut tower and the bottom end bolts to a bracket which is bolted to the trans mount. The one on the pass. side is barely visible, but you can see the black cover there sticking up over the p/s lines. The top of this one is the same as the driver side, it just bolts to the strut tower bracket. The bottom end bolts up to a bracket on the front of the engine. I can't remember exactly where, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

I should've showed you while we were at Kirk's.

i looked at a couple of pics from when it was SCed and it had the dampers
you can see the passengers side here, my brackets gone on that side now too. there was alot of attention to detail in some parts of this guys motor swap and none in other parts.

i just looked through my archieve of pics i've taken from the site and found these which show to two attached to the strut towers but not really the front. I think the picture of the front of your green car should get the job done as long as the bracket is still there.
