Well, a local dealer has one advertised. It is taking all I have, not to go over there. If I go and I like it... I will own it.

Wow. I really want to go check it out.

Take a look... :swing:

If there's anyone that should be looking at one, it's the owner of a transmission shop. :laugh_ti:

Got any room for it in the garage? You have a very impressive stable as it is.

Mike, GO AND DO IT!!! You won't be disappointed. Speaking of which, my salesman called me yesterday and tells me he still has no arrival time for them in my area. He asked if I was dying to drive one? :nut: Nope, I already have and am ready to buy one now I told him. Guess he thinks I was BS-ing him, but I wasn't.:naughty:

Yea, they are a scream even from the pass seat! However, I'll probably wait a couple of years to purchase a used 2-3rd year vehicle. Give'em time to work out the bugs!

On a side note SHO U UP where in Va Bch are you? I use to go to Kellam HS. Went back there a couple of years ago and was amazed how it has grown!

Holy Crap! I went to Kellam High School too! Class of 1995. And it has grown up tremendously now. Shoot me a PM if you wanna discuss any more. Don't want to take up the space on here...we are way off the subject now. :laugh_ti: Talk to you then!

Well.... I went to a Ford dealer.... And I bought a vehicle with two turbos.... And I traded in my Denali...

And got another twin turbo powerstroke. Sorry. No SHO for now.

Did they even have the new SHO there because I heard the new Taurii aren't going to hit dealers until August now. I know they are having that 2010 Taurus tour around the country showing them off, but as far as I know, no dealers have any 2010 Taurus inventory on their lots.

Oh and :ttiwwp:

Yes, that is what the dealer I talked to on Wednesday said also, though of course, there is Dropshop who has already been for a ride with 4 other guys in another post. All most interesting. Nothing good about it other than it goes fast, from the shotgun seat anyway, he claims. Guess most of us will just have to wait until September, though...

I put in an order on 14 July for the base model and the 12S performance package. I don't need any useless gadgets. The dealer said late August or early September for arrival. He said I wouldn't have to buy it if it wasn't what I wanted.

It will replace my '92 SHO that I bought new. It has 183,000 miles and I guess it's about time for another one. The lack of a manual in the 2010 is a little bothersome, but that's the way it is. I'll have to get used to the paddle shifter.

BTW, I don't know if this forum is some sort of elitist forum or what. I have tried to post 3 other times and a panel comes up that says my post must be approved by a moderator. I haven't seen the other posts come up yet. So if this post doesn't appear I suppose the moderator doesn't think any of my comments are worthy of reading. If that's the case, see ya. I won't waste my time again. Thanks.

I would rather them delay it and launch a good/better product than to jump the gun and have problems off the lot.
