Quick question, I tried searching and didn't find anything...

So I have LMS tunes - with the MyCal and the tuner update program on my computer. Does LMS automatically go out and provide you new versions of tunes? Or do I have to specifically request one using the form? For example, I am running the LMS V8 93 octane which is 1 of 3 tunes loaded on my handheld. Do I need to ask for V9 or V10? Or if I connect my handheld Mycal to the computer, has LMS updated my tunes automatically to the V9 or V10?

And I would then follow-up with- is the V9 or V10 tunes worth upgrading from the V8 tune?

As always, thanks in advance!

You have to email them and request any change in tunes, then I believe they send you a link to click on while your tuner is plugged into computer to update it.

Awesome, thanks! I was kinda thinking that would be the case. I can't imagine they would just go update people's tunes on the server...but I wasn't sure. Now I will search or see if anyone provides any feedback on the V8 vs 9 or 10.
Is the "V" in the tunes simply just the version number?

My car is an 11 so I have the 4x....so I'm not an expert, but I believe you are correct that the V is just version of the tune.

I went from V8 to V10 almost a year ago and was surprised I was able to notice the difference right away, especially in overall daily driving.

After my temperature gauge went missing with the 91 tune, I thought I'd try the 89 tune to see if it would come back. It did not, but the 89 tune actually feels stronger than the 91.
