I submitted my tune request last night. I was not 100% what to ask for so I requested Stage 2 and 4+. Given my mod list does this seem appropriate? Does it typically take them long to respond with a tune? I had hoped to have the car running a tune by tomorrow as I am meeting up with some old friends. Guess I should have gotten my request in sooner!

I would expect you to get your tune Monday or Tuesday, but you never know. From personal experience, you'll never run Stage 2. The only two (of the 4) tunes you'll find yourself running is Stage 4+ 91 or Stage 4X 93. I am running Stage 4+ 91 right now because of winter blends but am looking forward to running the Stage 4X 93 again!

Limited Saturday hours. Typically closed on Sunday's.

But there are times their internet staff has been known to monitor stuff even after hours.

Thanks limited. Hopefully they know that when I requested Stage 4+ (93 octane) I meant 4x. 93 is available pretty much everywhere here. Thanks for the hours information bpd. I ended up finding that on their site somewhere after I posted this. Do LMS provide for a way for us to modify/tweak our tunes?

It looks like you have a 2016 SHO? If so, the stages 4+ or 4X do not apply. Those are for 2010-2012 models.

Mass confusion has officially set in then. I have not been able to find any document or indication for how to choose what tune I want. Hopefully the gentlemen at LMS will view my mods and make some suggestions...For a very expensive tuner I am admittedly a little frustrated by the lack of documentation and support around it...

If you call Ethan or Anthony on Monday, they can help you. Both are great. Others with 2013+ SHOs may chime in here but I think you have a choice of different versions of tunes -V8, V10, etc. I also think you can choose them to be in 91 or 93 octane versions.

Have you already provided Livernois your strategy code?

Great. Thanks Bruce. I appreciate the information. I filled out the tune request form which had the strategy code, etc on it. Only portion I did not know was the "tune requested" field as there is so little information about what I might want. Would be nice if they had some sort of table of options to choose from. Will give them a ring tomorrow. Thanks again!

You have pretty much the same mods I do..... Tstat, plugs, CAI and 3 bar. I sent them that information along with my strategy codes and they emailed me 4 tunes...87,89,91 and 93. I am currently running the 89 tune on 91 octane winter gas. We can only get 91 octane around here, so I'll probably never run the 93 tune.

It seems like it took them one day to send me the tune.

Cool. Sounds good. I am sure I will hear back from them. Now I just need to figure out why my remote starter isn't working anymore LOL

They'll help you out with it. They're good guys there. Once you give them the information and any Mods they'll send you tunes to choose from. These guys are real good with the Ecoboost engines.

Thanks. Yeah everyone seems to speak very highly of them. I just gotta get caught up! LOL Still trying to figure out how to read boost using the tuner. Wondering if I have to have a tune in place first...

Fixed remote starter...unrelated I know but I had disconnected the hood close sensor near airbox when installing intake. Clearly it doesn't like thinking the hoods open LOL

I don't think you can read boost with the Mycal tuner.

To read boost you need gauges, the MyCal isn't able to do that. I run Aeroforce, they plug into the OBDII port and read vitals that way. Other have bought just a boost gauge, but those are just a little more involved in installing.

2010-2012 are the ONLY years that the 4+X applies for. The 93 perf tune for the later years with the modifications is a pretty stout tune in its own right.
Normally 24-48 hours from the time we receive the tune request is when we can get the tune back out to you. This all depends on the amount of tune requests that we receive. We do see influxes in requests so we appreciate the patience you all show in regards to that. We hope you enjoy the tune and we will get it to you as soon as possible!

You will be impressed. My first SHO was a 2011 and I drove it for about 5 years. Now I have a 2016 with the V10 93 octane tune and there is a huge difference. Thankfully our weather here has been rather warm, going to be mid 60's today so I haven't needed to down tune it.

Man am I ever impressed! What a change in the car! LOL

I loaded my V10 93 tune last night and took the family to a soccer game. Took it easy for probably 10-15 miles before I gave it any gas whatsoever. Needless to say when I did I was impressed. Love the shift points and the overall power increase. I wish I had a way of measuring boost to ensure things were on the up and up but if the push back in my seat is any indication we are doing just fine. Thanks again Livernois!
