New here on the forum, but I just had to post my experience with LMS.
I purchased my car about two months ago. 2010 SHO. I've been wanting one for a few years now. Got a steal of a deal with low miles. Now I bought the car and it blew my mind, just how elegant the car is with such a spicy personality when you dip into the throttle.
I needed to go faster.
I've always been a fan of LMS, with their custom builds and undying loyalty to their customers and astounding service. I called Steve and made an appointment for a dyno tune, with their pregapped plugs as I was having issues with the car dumping boost, we were going to try and figure it out.
After a tour around their beautiful shop, filled with incredibly built cars, I waited like a child on Christmas eve for the morning to come.
We were unable to figure out my car, though it was running better, we fell short on time; but the tune was in, and it was still a whole new car. Fast forward a few days down the road, as I'm still having my boost issues, Steve kept in touch giving me pointers along the way, trying to debunk my issue. Now this meant a lot to me, because we all know he is busy and going different directions at all times of the day.
Issue solved.
Vacuum lines were disconnected on the rear turbo, and charge pipe, plain out of sight for anyone to see. I took the down time as an opportunity to throw in a 3bar and and 170* thermostat, and load up the 4+X. Good Lord I think I shat myself. What an awakening to this subtle, sleeper of a car.
Livernois, and Steve especially- You guys are the golden child in the ecoboost world. I can't tell you how happy I am, and impressed with your customer service. **** even before I was a customer you took the time out of your day to answer my questions and help me along my merry way. I will be returning with a lot of business for you guys.
PS, hope to see you at Thunder on The Strip up here in gladwin!
