Here are a few videos from the track last week. Our car had our stage 2 tune and went 12.98 @ 105 mph and Darrell was running the stage 4 tune. The best run of the day was 12.82 @ 106, but he has been a best of 12.78 @ 110 mph.

That was with varying launch rpm, traction issues and some torque management issues which are fixed now. The car should really run 12.6's or better. I need to see how far south I need to go to find an open track. I would have liked to hit Lapeer this weekend but I have a promotional exam next week so studying has to be first priority!

In my opinion...no. Only picked up about 10 hp with the exhaust

I agree. It's not required, but definitely doesn't hurt.

how much would the stage-4 tune cost??

The stage 4 tune is somewhat aggressive and a "run at your own risk" tune. When it was first developed for Darrell, we recommended he use it for the track and mix race gas and pump gas, but he has been running it daily with pump gas for a while now. I also have several others running it with no issues.

We sell the SCT handheld device with our custom files for $499.99 + shipping or if you have a device already, we can email the files to you for $250.00.

Nice job fella's, as always.

Thanks Mike!!

Thank you

Rick...thanks for the very quick replies and the stage 4 tune.
I loaded the tune when I left work.....I only have about a 10 mile ride so I really did not get a chance to run the car....so I'll post my thoughts after a couple of days worth of use....

My car is bone stock except for a tune.

I have been running Livernois' stage 3 now for about 1 month....and WOW does it bring the car to life....

is an aftermarket exhaust required for the 12second passes?

I can't speak specifically to this car but typically opening up exhaust restriction will reduce EGT. I would think this would add a very small safety cushion. My experience is more in the diesel world so it is a bit different but with such a minimal gain on the SHO from opening the exhaust maybe it really does not matter with these cars.

It is so cool to see the power you guys are making with these in such a short time.

Wow... I actually love that exhaust note. Never thought I would say that about a 6 banger. :nut:

Yeah I like the Corsa too! I thought the same thing about the 6 cylinder but I was pleasantly surprised with the Corsa...that's why I chose it

I really need to find someone local to me that has a digital camcorder so I can post up a sound clip of my custom NESHO exhaust. I think it's a tad bit louder than any of the others, and the drone at certain RPM's is addictively intoxicating.

I love it.

I look forward to hearing it bpd;)
