Newer to the sho world. I took the wheels off and sprayed them black with custom wrap painted calipers as well. Not there seems to be a shake around 70-75. I can feel it in the pedal which had me thinking it's not unbalanced or something like that. Any thoughts??? Anyone see something like this. I plan on changing all fluids soon.

Go back and check that all the wheels are seated correctly, and make sure that the rotors themselves are also seated to the hub. If there was dirt or rust behind the rotor when you worked on the calipers, that'll make them wobble and you will probably feel that in the pedal.

You don't feel it in the steering wheel?

I can feel it in the steering as well. I'll check when I get home. The dealer did resurface the rotors and I don't think that helped. Maybe time to do full brake job.

The wheels are balanced and free of defects? The lugnuts should be properly torqued as well. And then there's the tires ...

Well changed the oil last night and on the drive into work there was a lot less shake and I'm wondering if there was that big of a difference with old oil to fresh on the crank. Changed due to oil timer on the car.

Could be if the VCT solenoids were being affected, throwing off timing.

I had a f150 with the 5.4 before this and I know the vct system all to well. They had a revised solenoids that had larger port to flow more oil. Did they do anything with them on the ecoboost platform?

They do have issues with them on the F150 EBs to a limited extent (enough to have TSBs issued), and much more so ("apparently") than on the transverse-engined brethren. Plugged solenoids, stretched timing chains on the F150s. RARELY seen on the SHO/Flex/XSport/MKS, but it does happen on occasion.

Just an update. Took my sho to dealer today and had trany flush done and asked the dealer to check balance on my wheels and tires. They found all 4 to be out of balance and 2 where pretty bad to the point of needing all new weights. Just thought id follow up.

I wish my vibration could be solved with balancing :(
4 Balancing jobs later, 3 of them road force balance, and still the same vibration...

If they have balanced it with a new balancer it is hard to say it the wheels and tires unless the wheel to hub matting surface is not clean and true.

sigh, it's still an ongoing case with Ford, I bought new tires hoping that would fix the issue, vibration did not change one bit.
