Don't use light bulbs, theres a sensor in there and the heat from a lightbulb will screw up the readings.

On a side note, where can I hook it up so that it'll turn on whenever the parking lights are on?

I would like to take this chance to give a round of applause to SHOoff. I browsed that thread a long time ago, and read his quip little comment at the end. Upon reading it again tonight, I was incapacitated with laughter. So much so, that I brought my whole family over to read the thread. Good golly, that was funny. I use duct tape for everything around the house - even to seal a crack the main sewage line OUT of the basement. Just once more, nicely done. Nicely done.

Ahh. Matt

Here's a bad picture of mine. I poped mine out and glued 2 blue leds to the back of it. Wired it up to my ash try light. So that it comes on with when I turn on my parking lights. And then I painted it ford blue to match the rest of my interior.
