left axle

well i found my clicking and vibration i have a busted axle i got the axle out and the whole inner cv joint close to the transaxle was busted all the peices
( i mean the cup part i call it where the fingers go into) it was just torn all apart nothing was left in there and i was wondering what the heck would cause that to do that :confused: anyone else have any ideas

It is very possilbe when the motor was out to have the joint in a bind going back together. or it could have turned while seperated.

well i got a new axle and got it installed today but i noticed i had some play in the part of the axle that goes into the tranny (but the seal is not leaking) is there bearings in there are they hard to change and is that normal to have some play?

In case you dont see my other reply it is normal to have some play.
