Update:

In previous posts I was having trouble with the 'courteous light' harness from Drive Bright... Well, I tried the trouble shooting steps that Dan at Drive Bright suggested but it didn't work. Luckly, he suspected it could be the wiring harness it self and shipped me one that day..

Turns out, it was the hatness that was bad..

Now the lights perform like they did with the factory lights.

Our cars our twins! (except for my H&Rs) LOVE the silver with the black accents! I should be getting my courtesy adapter today in the mail!

Looking at purchasing these from Drive Bright along with the puddle lights. Anyone who has purchased care to weigh in on installation? Can a novice do this or is it something that someone familiar with electronics and splicing would have to take care of? I've changed out basic lights before but never to this level.

Anyone can do it! Dan (Daytime Bright Light) does a great job with instructions and even has a YouTube channel with "How To," videos. The puddle lights are a ***** though! Not difficult, it's just they're stuck in the housing so well it's extremely difficult to get the stock ones out. Just take your time and pry from ALL angles and not just the one side.
The DRL lights are easy. The only difficulty is wiring the "dimming," trigger wire to the driver's side headlight. This light is buried! I actually took the lazy way out and while my car was at the dealer for a free oil change and addressing one of the recall notices I threw my tech guy a $20 bill and he connected it with heat shield wrap, etc and also wrapped all my other connectors which I did not ask him to do.

The driving lights are easy.. Just make sure you have the tools.. Crimpers, cutters, etc... Or at very least, another car available to run to the store for tools/parts while your car is apart..

I dimmed my lights to the existing wiring that went to my factory 'fog lights'.. The only downfall by doing that is with the courtesy lift trigger.. The lights only come on at 70%.. But it was ALOT easier than running the wire to the headlight wire..

I would suspect that the puddle lights have stayed the same for all 2010-2016 models and when I changed mine on the 2013 it was actually pretty easy.

Grab a medium strength flat head screwdriver and you will probably need a flashlight initially. Insert the screwdriver between the mirror glass and the mirror frame bottom side roughly centered. There should be a little release tab just slowly push forward and that should pop the tab loose. I am pretty sure there are two alignment tabs but only one of the tabs is the locking tab. The one on the front side of the housing is simply a alignment tab that sits on a shelf. When the locking tab releases use your other hand to slowly pull light body down and away from the mirror housing. Remove the wires and installation should be the reverse of removal.

NOTE: OPS CHECK THE PUDDLE LIGHTS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION....Very Simple check Either open door or hit Key Fob either lock or unlock button.

I like the LED supplemental parking lamp function but if I am going to get it needs to be before Carlisle.

Make that Three known Ingot Silver 2014 SHO's Yours might be twins, lets call mine a semi distant cousin. Born in Chicago and grew up on the mean streets of Columbus, Ohio. A sorted past with a move to Pittsburgh and finally moved to DFW Metroplex in late summer 2015.

Ordered my set today. I was going to get the 6000K HID set but since the SHO OEM headlights are already HID my buddy talked me out of it. Figuring the OEM ballast and the aftermarket ballast might try to counter act and cause issues.

I ordered the LED DRL, Puddle lamp package and the Courtesy light adapter. Next stop LED interior lamps.

I actually just received my Philips 5000k bulbs and installing when warmer outside. The SHO is 4200k and too close to the yellow spectrum. 5k is right at daylight color.

I would be interested in seeing if the aftermarket bulbs are effected by a new ballast/resistor in the long term. I had 6000K on my 13 SEL and that was about the high limit of natural white light. I definitely would not recommend beyond 6000K

Paid too much but I really like the reviews they got! HID Concepts.com I also own an Audi and they advertise on Audizine.com all the time. They had a promo going for 20% off using a code Happy20.

Checked the SPAM folder? Very frequently the replies are missed due to that.
