Happy New Year, everyone!

Has anyone tried the "Sealight" S1-9004 HS1 60w 6000k headlight bulbs on the Gen1? they are offered "plug & play" direct fit with acceptable additional brightness and a money back guarantee.

CORRECTION: THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT LED NO. FOR THE GEN1.
THE CORRECT NO. IS: 9004 HB1 LED.
sorry for the misinformation.
Joe

most people i know currently use auxito, hikari, fahren or lasfit brands. don't have any feedback on the sealight brand.

you can also check reviews at bulbfacts.com. nowadays the good brands allow you to rotate the bulb in the housing so the element sits vertical to best mimic halogen bulbs.

new led lights. i went sealight led headlight bulbs mostly for the plug & play. they weren't cheap but the results a very good (see pic) led right/old school halogen left. i also got the direct fit led backup lights that serve me pretty well in my dark driveway that I like to back into. (see pic) awesome.
so far no problems. i'll post if i get any problems but with an estimated 60,000 hours of led life it may be 20 years or so. lol

I have had very good experience with the Lasfit brand on several of my vehicles.

nowadays the led offerings are pretty good. back when i started playing around with them, they were non-adjustable and created a whole bunch of glare. now i can look into the headlight close up and see all the innards without being blinded.

I just ordered a set of LUMENS LEDs. We got a sealed set for the Land Cruiser and they work great, so I'm hoping the ones for the SHO will work well.
