Leather Care?

Have a 93 ATX that probably has never had leather conditioning on the seats.

What is the best product I can put on my SHO leather seats?

What are the crappy ones to avoid?

Mike,
I use the Armor All leather care in the brown bottle. It has both cleaners and conditioners which help to soften the leather to prevent cracking...you can find it at Wal-Mart or any common department store.... wink

Hey thanks for the response Jeremy.

I've always been afraid of using Armour All products on anything other than tires. I used it religously on a Nissan and it dried out the dash and faded the back bumper.

If its worked for you I'll try it.

I like Zymol. The cleaner and conditioner is separate. I buy it a Pep Boys. I find that I get best results by first cleaning the leather. Then leave the car parked in the Sun and let the leather warm up. When the seats are warm, rub in the conditioner with your bare hands. Buff any excess. I am sure you will be pleased with the results.
I have tried Lexol too and I prefer Zymol.

True - most experienced Corvette owners prefer Zymol as well. Costs a little more but cheaper than recovering your seats!
