Maybe it's because I rarely have anyone ride with me at night, but this weekend my girlfriend opened the passenger side door before I got to my side of car. When I did get to my side of car, the ground next to my door was lit up. Had never noticed that before, then I noticed the light was coming from my mirror. I looked on the underside of my mirror and there is a little spotlight there.

Next week will be 3 years I've had the car and I never noticed that before.

The stock ones from Ford are not very bright (you can't even see light in the before picture) so no wonder you didn't notice them, that's why I added them to my Amazon - Wish List, An guess what I got for Christmas. I have also seen them called Puddle Lights, in lots of places. If it ever warms up I have to adjust them a bit.

Don't feel bad. I had my car over a year before I found out it had a heated steering wheel. All my previous cars had a button on the steering wheel whereas I had to go through the menu for this one. Who reads manuals, right?

LOL! You have a 2015 though - the button is on the touch screen my friend!! My 2014 has it on the screen.

My wife bought a brand new Dodge Durango GT and hasn't even read the manual! We're in a very cold snap right now with Highs like around 5 degrees! She kept complaining how cold the car is after work and needing gloves to drive, etc. Then I didn't want to ask, but I said do you use the remote start and use the heated steering wheel? Her reply....."What?" :smash:

I always thought the puddle lights were the ones below the headlights, tho now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense that these ones are the puddle lights. I read the entire manual when I got the car but I probably skimmed thru anything that had to do with lights. What do I need to read about lights anyway, it's just a car right?

Had these for a few months! They look great, had a few compliments. I'm all about accessory lights.
Looks Good man, did you have to use the covers to keep the puddle lights lined up. I'm all ready all in on my 2012 but if I had it to do over again I would but a 2013+ because I LOVE there tail lights so much more then mine. Really is a shame its almost impossible to upgrade. Have a great weekend all

I have a 14, but no, they installed like they were supposed to. They don't fit exactly as well as the OEM lights, but they fit well enough that I didn't have to add or modify anything to make them work.

I agree, they are just a tic smaller an don't seem to lock in the same way, I was a little confused installing them and almost broke one. But my question is about the little stickers you put over the adjustment screws, Did you use yours. I still have to do a final adjustment on mine and was just wondering if I needed the stickers.

Yes. I believe the sticker may both help hold the screw in place as well as keep moisture away from it and the hole it's in.

Yes, I know what you mean. My wife has them on her XC90 and we couldn't figure out how to make them turn on. Turns out that there
is a button on the fob to illuminate them if you like. They don't just come on automatically.
