I have a 93 ATX & it is doing soem wierd stuff.

If I drive to & from work (Approx 10 mins) all is well.

If I drive for 30 mins or so, there is a pool of trans fluid directly in the middle of the car just under the trans.

I check the level while hot & it is 1/2 down the OK marks. This doesnt make sense as the pool is BIG & the there is a nice solid drip trail behind the car.

What could the problem be?

HELP!!

Might have something to do with Viscosity and temperature of fluid. I would venture a guess that a gasket is leaking and fluid escapes when it becomes hot and thinner. Mine is currently leaking and I am going to throw her up on rack tonight to change fluid and gasket. My .02.

Cheers

I am just checking to see if it is one of those ATX SHO things that happens to all cars. I'll have to jack it up and look.
