I have a oil leak somewhere and i cant find out where. It seems to leak when im running my SHO pretty hard. It looks like it is coming from the oil pan, but ive replaced the gasket and am still having problems. The Heads and valve covers are fine as well. Any suggestions, the smell that oil makes when it hits my cats is horrible. It definitely is coming from the right side though, I was figuring cam seals but the timing belt cover is in the way so i cant really see.

What he said.
It's not as much work to pull the timing cover off as to pull off the stuff to see if it's the front main. If you just look from under the car up where the crankshaft damper (pulley) is, you will probably see oil leaking.

BUT, the oil can drip there from the cam seals, which are up higher.

I actually did both in April, since you have to pretty much pull the same stuff apart. (Minus cam gears for the front main, and minus dampener for cam seals..)

It's not necessarily a critical leak, but some say the oil can make the Crank Position sensor go out. (And then the SHO is nothing more than a very pretty driveway ornament.. :D )

to add, there is a "drain hole" in the bottom of the lower timing cover. IIRC, itll allow any fluid/liquid to drain out from the engine of the harmonic balancer...right at the lip of the oil pan.
