Hello, I saw an EATC out of a newer GRand Marquis (00 or 01 I believe), and it looks as thuogh it would be the same. Has anyone ever put one into the SHO, and does it work the same? What color does it light up? Thanks to all, I am in the process of buying another SHO, and was curious about this fitting or not. Also, any tips on where to get guages for it? I see only one set on ebay, and they dont look to awesome, so I was curious where the GLOW ones went, etc.. Thanks!

It SHOULD fit, from what I've heard, but it will probably require a redrilling of the mounting holes on the the EATC's face plate. As far as the EATC actually working with the car, You'll need the blower control module off the Grand Marquis, I think it's a little more trouble than it may be worth.

*mango voice* WHAT THE FRECK??

no it will not plug in, yes it will fit, plugs will plug in and the unit will power up but it will not operater the fan (and possibly not move the blend door acutator) there is a whole sticky in the SHO Generation I & II Performance Upgrades - Electronics & Audio section on this. it can be made to work but only the face from the newer units can be used.

also just to be a dick i was the first naner, naner. :p

finger j/k I thought Ford used different EATC's in the C/V line than they did in the Taurus line up and that the bcm and lay out of each face plate was a little different, but essentially the same size. ... oh well My bad. By the way, that new one looks pretty nice...... maybe when I've got $$$
