I hope so bad they make these things, only because I want to see who actually puts their $$ where their mouth (or name) is :)
Some of us are ready right now. I would write them a check in advance if it mattered.

I signed. Although I have brand new GR2's on the car, they will eventually wear out.
wich will be like next week if they are anything like my gr2's.

I'll by a set tomorrow if they start makeing them.

I actually sent it via fax to someone over there. Still trying to find out the status-keep signing away though; it's still open and nothing is close to final yet...

sunny San Juan Bautista,
One thing I was thinking about yesterday is the Tokicos were developed back when factory bushings were relatively new and in good shape and people weren't replacing them with aftermarket poly and TPR. With most original bushings on these cars being cracked and in need of replacement it seems like the Moog TPR bushings are going to be the most common replacement. If KYB actually made the effort to develop the AGX struts for our cars with proper suspension tuning in mind you might suggest to them that they outfit a test car (if they would be so nice as to buy one!!) with TPR bushings. I don't know, maybe I'm just blowing smoke.

Im looking to upgrade my suspension and would definitely consider AGX adjustable strut if they were available.

OH you didn't know
Talked to KYB today and looks like it will not happen for the SHO shrug . I even asked to maybe revalve the GR-2 for the SHO..no luck. It is just not "profitable" to produce the AGX for the SHO is what I was told.

Yah, that's how it seems for now..maybe in a year if they are looking for a new product they might consider it again.

Are you Ian? I think that I got your email but I don't know if I replied.

I just spoke with the folks at KYB regarding this. I'm waiting for either the product manager to return from his travels or a technician to return my call.

Either way I'll relay what they say.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but it aint' gonna happen; no matter how many signatures you get, from a business standpoint it is not economically viable for KYB to design an AGX for a limited production car that went out of production 12 years ago. SLO owners would not spend the cash or need these either. If it were my company, I would also focus on producing a product that will sell hundreds or thousands of sets, not dozens.

I absolutely agree, and so does KYB. Fact of the matter I've called them all, KYB, Tokico, Koni.

Koni still makes them but would not make a complete strut due to the car going out of production and no sharing in the European market. Like the Contour.

I was just performing due diligence.
